Terms of Service
Clear terms for better work.
These Terms explain the responsibilities of customers, employers, artisans, service providers and agents using OHelp.
1. Operator and agreement
OHelp is operated by SEN CONSTRUCTIUM. These Terms govern your use of OHelp's website, mobile application and related marketplace services. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean SEN CONSTRUCTIUM operating OHelp. Please read these Terms before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use OHelp.
2. The OHelp marketplace
OHelp helps customers and employers connect with independent artisans and service providers, and supports agents who refer providers. Providers are responsible for the services they offer and perform. OHelp is not the provider of a listed service unless expressly stated. A listing, application, verification indicator or review is not a guarantee of suitability, availability or a particular outcome. Any employment relationship arising from an engagement depends on the actual arrangement and applicable law.
3. Eligibility and account responsibilities
You must have the legal capacity and meet the applicable age requirements to enter the agreements you make through OHelp. Provide accurate, current information and keep your account, professional and payment details up to date. Protect your sign-in credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. Do not share accounts, impersonate others or claim qualifications you do not hold. Anyone acting for an employer or organization must have authority to do so.
4. Customers, employers and providers
Customers and employers must describe work honestly, communicate material requirements and hazards, provide necessary access safely, and honour agreed payment obligations. Providers must accurately describe their skills, experience and availability, carry out accepted work with appropriate care, and comply with applicable professional and legal requirements. Employers remain responsible for obligations arising from their own hiring arrangements. Verification on OHelp does not replace the checks appropriate to a particular job.
5. Job postings, applications and engagements
Post only lawful jobs or services that you are authorized to offer. Include accurate descriptions, locations, budgets and relevant conditions, and avoid unnecessary private information. An application is a proposal and does not by itself mean a provider has been hired. Confirm the scope, price, timing and responsibilities through the applicable acceptance and job workflow before work begins. Record agreed changes, progress and completion accurately. Do not falsely confirm delivery, payment or completion.
6. Subscriptions
One subscription gives you Premium access to all professions on OHelp. Coverage includes future professions, subject to professional registration, eligibility and verification requirements. Certain provider activities require an active Premium subscription. The available plan, duration, price, eligibility and expiry information shown in the subscription flow apply to your purchase. A subscription does not guarantee job offers, acceptance or earnings. Expiry may restrict features requiring an active entitlement. Any renewal, cancellation or refund conditions must be disclosed in the applicable flow and remain subject to mandatory legal rights.
7. Payments and platform fees
Payments are processed through Paystack or another supported third-party payment provider. Review the amount, currency, applicable platform fees and any subscription or processing charges before confirming a transaction. OHelp records payment and payout status and applies the relevant job, confirmation and release procedures. Do not submit false payment claims or attempt to bypass payment safeguards. OHelp does not store complete payment-card details or card security codes. Payment availability, processing times and supported methods may depend on the provider and country.
8. Agents, referrals and commissions
Agents must use referral codes and recruitment features honestly. Referral attribution, commission eligibility, calculation and payment are governed by the applicable OHelp programme rules and qualifying transaction records. An established referral relationship may be locked against reassignment. Do not create false referrals, manipulate identities or transactions, or claim commissions for ineligible activity. Neither participation nor a referral guarantees earnings. These Terms do not change existing commission calculations or entitlements.
9. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
Use the available job and support workflows to request cancellation, report a problem or raise a dispute. Where safe and appropriate, communicate with the other participant to clarify the issue. OHelp may review relevant records and restrict an affected payment or payout while a dispute is investigated under the applicable workflow. Refunds and outcomes depend on the transaction, disclosed conditions and applicable law; mandatory cancellation and refund rights are preserved. Contact support if you cannot access the relevant workflow.
10. User-generated content and reviews
You retain any rights you hold in content you submit. You must have permission to share it and must not infringe another person's privacy or intellectual property. You give OHelp permission to host, display, format and share that content as reasonably necessary to operate the requested marketplace features, including public job promotion described below. This permission does not authorize unrelated use of private messages or verification documents. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not be fabricated or manipulated. We may restrict or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
11. Social-media and job publication
Where OHelp's publishing features are enabled, appropriate information from public job listings may be shared to OHelp social channels, including its Facebook Page, to help people discover work. This may include a title, service category, general location, budget, suitable description and job link. Public posts may be copied, indexed or shared by others. Do not include private contact details, identity documents or sensitive financial information in content intended for public publication. This feature does not itself authorize posting to your personal social account. Contact us about an inaccurate or inappropriate OHelp-controlled post; removal cannot ensure deletion of third-party copies.
11A. Public professional promotion (Artisan Spotlight)
Public promotion through Artisan Spotlight and OHelp social channels requires separate, optional promotional authorization. Creating an account, creating a professional profile or accepting marketplace Terms does not grant that authorization. You can use the marketplace without consenting to advertising and can withdraw promotional consent separately. Authorized promotion may include your professional name, photograph, selected professions, general service location, genuine ratings and accurate verification status. It excludes private phone numbers, email addresses, residential addresses, payment information, verification documents and private messages. After withdrawal, OHelp will stop future publication and hide OHelp-controlled Spotlight pages; copies shared outside OHelp may remain.
Promotional authorization is recorded separately from marketplace agreement acceptance. Existing agreement receipts do not grant new promotional authorization.
12. Prohibited conduct
Do not use OHelp for illegal services, fraud, harassment, discrimination prohibited by law, threats, false identities, misleading postings, payment abuse, referral abuse or review manipulation. Do not upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or disclose personal information without permission, bypass platform safeguards or interfere with the service. Do not use another participant's information for unrelated solicitation or other unauthorized purposes.
13. Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Firebase/Google services, payment providers, social platforms and other third parties support relevant OHelp features. Their applicable terms and policies may also govern your interactions with them. External links do not imply endorsement. Third-party availability may affect a feature, but does not remove any responsibility OHelp has under applicable law.
14. Suspension and termination
We may restrict content, suspend features or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address breaches of these Terms, fraud, security risks or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will give an explanation and an opportunity to contact support; urgent safety or legal circumstances may require immediate action. You may stop using OHelp and request account deletion. Closure or suspension does not automatically resolve outstanding jobs, lawful payment obligations, disputes or required record retention.
15. OHelp content and branding
OHelp's branding, software and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Your use of the service does not transfer ownership of those materials. Do not copy or use them beyond what is permitted by the service or applicable law without appropriate permission.
16. Disclaimers and limits of liability
We aim to operate OHelp with reasonable care, but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, a particular number of jobs, or a guaranteed result from an independent engagement. Participants should assess the suitability and safety of an engagement before proceeding. These statements do not waive applicable service standards or statutory protections.
Responsibility for loss is determined by applicable law and the circumstances, including causation and any lawful duty to mitigate loss. These Terms do not impose a blanket waiver or fixed monetary cap on OHelp's liability, or exclude liability for fraud, negligence, misrepresentation, defective performance or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or remedies.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as OHelp's services or legal obligations change. We will update the dates on this page and provide appropriate notice of material changes, obtaining agreement where required by law. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights or override mandatory protections. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using the service, subject to existing lawful obligations.
18. Contact
